Common RedpollA flock of Common Redpolls flew over us on our morning walk. Reports of irruptive species are coming in from all over NH on the NHBirds listserv.... Pine Grosbeaks in Antrim, Nelson and Harrisville, Common Redpolls in Concord and Harrisville, Evening Grosbeaks and Bohemian Waxwings in North Conway.
Maine has reoprts of Bohemian Waxwings, Evening and Pine Grosbeaks, and Pine Siskins. Massachusetts has Bohemian Waxwings, Evening Grosbeaks and Hoary Redpolls. As we said, keep looking, you could find irruptive species just about anywhere in the country this year.
